Expert assessment from a Solay dermatologist:
Your enrollment consultation appointment evaluates whether you are a candidate for the therapy. If so, our physician develops a tailored at-home Goeckerman regimen for you and may prescribe topical corticosteroids, home UVB device, and medicated coal tar ointments based on your condition severity.
Support from a dedicated Solay nurse:
In-app messaging and periodic virtual consults to provide answers, feedback, habit-formation strategies, encouragement, and accountability. The nurse adjusts the treatment based on the prescribed regime and your skin response until significant clearance is achieved.
Shipment of treatment materials:
Our team ships you a box of necessary materials to start treatment. The shipment includes occlusion wraps, UV eye protection, mineral oil, moisturizing cream, applicator brush, and others as directed.
Post-treatment maintenance plan:
When you are satisfied with your results, you can request to stop our treatment services anytime after 8 weeks. Our Solay dermatologist will develop a maintenance plan to help you to extend your results.

Home UVB Unit
This is a one-time purchase of a home UVB unit that is needed to start treatment.
Solay partners with National Biological Corporation, which will fulfill our prescription and ship the unit to your home.
The UVB unit model is dependent on our physician’s assessment of your condition severity.
The largest unit shipped is the 4-bulb UVB Panosol 6.
Insurance
Insurance (or self-pay) to cover the home UVB unit. All major insurance carriers accepted.
